The Human Rights Action Group is based at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and is largely comprised of Victoria University students, as well as interested members of the public, concerned with issues of human rights issues around New Zealand & The World.

In 2000, we are focusing on THREE mainstream human rights organisations where & when possible, we give full support towards their various campaigns. They include

Amnesty International

• Red Cross

• World Vision

We continue to support smaller fringe human rights groups and look at some of their issues of concern from time to time.

Being a varsity group, we are constrained with the varsity time table, our studies workload and holding part time jobs, as committee positions in the group are all voluntary. We receive funding from the Victoria University of Wellington Students Assocation (VUWSA), and through membership support.

Many thanks to Converge our website host over the many years.
