Ecological living means new housing ideas for human species
Place: Herne Bay Neighbourhood: Herne Bay
City: Auckland Regional council: Auckland

Since the inspirational visit of authors Katie McCammant and Charles Durre in February, there has been much interest locally in their cohousing ideas. A thought provoking evening into what are the future possibilities for co-operative housing in New Zealand is planned for Friday 8 May 98.
The venue is the Kohia Teachers Centre at 272 Jervois Road, Herne Bay, Auckland. The time is 8-9:30 pm, followed by a supper.

One of the topics for the meeting is to discuss the creation of a cohousing association. This association could provide opportunities to network, circulate information, provide a forum for debate on the subject and be a spawning ground for future cohousing projects.

If you would like to attend please RSVP (to help with catering).
If you would like to help with the evening, please be in contact as soon as possible.
