Alert! Foreshore and Seabed Bill next week
12 November 2004 The Foreshore and Seabed Bill will have its second reading in parliament next week, probably on Tuesday. It is extremely likely that the committee stage will also be next week - that is when the government's changes, which will be presented in a Supplementary Order Paper, and changes from other political parties will be debated. There is a strong possibility that the third reading and passing of the confiscation legislation will also be next week, possibly next Friday if parliament goes into urgency.
