  • About Jette

Jette de Jong is a Pakeha New Zealander of Dutch descent. These weekly emaily bulletins have been written in response to the recent media frenzy over the seabed and foreshore debate and other Maori issues, and are an attempt to balance some of the misinformation propogated by our right-wing media and perpetuated by our governments and education system.

Jette is not a member of any political party or organisation, but is responding as an individual to "an unprovoked and unnecessary attack on Maori which threatens the peace of both Maori and Pakeha communities in this country."
