Appeal for Cartoons and Graphics

As you may have noticed, many of the same cartoons and graphics are recycled through issue after issue of hard-copy Watchdog. The simple explanation is that we haven’t got enough of them in stock, and that this is a hard subject to illustrate. It’s a problem of success, not failure, however – until comparatively recently, Watchdog wasn’t illustrated at all. Now it is a much better looking publication. But the problem remains of how to break up pages and pages of text (such as the Overseas Investment Commission section in every issue, or lengthy articles about global trade organisations and agreements, to give two examples).

So, if you’ve got some cartoons and/or graphics that you think would be suitable for Watchdog, please send them to us.
