Kapatiran Issue That Never Was, and Never Will Be

NOTE from the Editor (excerpts)...

3 January 2012

PSNA Members & Supporters,

As mentioned, we will no longer be publishing our newsletter Kapatiran (last published in 2009). But rather than see the good quality copy we had to hand go to waste, I have decided to put it all together... see list of titles and separate articles below. This is not necessarily the order in which these articles would have been laid out (I hadn’t got as far as thinking about that) and obviously this issue was never completed – some planned articles, namely mine, were never written.

Bear in mind that nothing here is more recent than 2010 – for example, PSNA hosted Luis Jalandoni and Coni Ledesma on their NZ speaking tour in October/November 2010.

And, inevitably, some of it is out of date and has been overtaken by events. For example, Luke Coxon ’s article “Free Ka Bebot Now” – he has been freed, quite some time ago...

Rest assured that PSNA is not going out of existence (although we’ve just been ticking along since Luis and Coni’s 2010 tour) but we won’t be publishing a newsletter again. This is the last, incomplete, issue, a collector’s item.

With this, I’m signing off as Editor of Kapatiran (1993-2009).

Best wishes
Murray Horton
Secretary
