Spiral is governed by a Board comprising: Leon Tan (Convenor), Justin Hewitt (Administrator), Gary Reese (Trustee / Director SAFE), Phillippa Wilkie (Solicitor), and Catherine Albiston (Trustee / Researcher). Spiral's financial advisor is Bob Hewitt.

To date, Spiral has been responsible for a number of projects and exhibitions involving young people in the arts. Spiral also serves as the South Pacific World Outreach Center for We The Peoples and Pathways to Peace (U.N. Peace Messenger Initiative for 2000 and Beyond)
