Assemble in hall for background on conference workshops

2.15-3.45pmWorkshops based on presentations by conference participants
A wide range of presentations by conference participants will be facilitated. At least half the workshop time will be allotted to participation by all present. Groups will be asked to record suggestion/s for a deepening of Treaty implementation in the field under consideration.

Groups will incorporate their own TEA/COFFEE BREAK.

4.00-5.30pmWorkshops in Sector, Community or Regional Groups
Group members will be asked to share responses on:
  • What themes have been relevant for you?
  • How do you see these applying to your sector, community or region?
  • What are the issues for your sector, community or region?

Again, work groups will be asked to summarise key points that arise from the sharing and discussion.

Note:
The arrangement of the sessions on the Friday afternoon may be adapted from the above, depending on the number of contributions that are offered by participants. Details of any changes and the workshops available will be given to participants on arrival at the conference.

Small group discussions
12.30pmLUNCH

1.45-4.45pmStrategies for Treaty Implementation
Groups will develop plans for furthering Treaty implementation and networking in their sectors, regions and communities. This will be a facilitated process. Working through creative drama will be an option.

5.00-6.00pm

Presentation of Strategies & Recommendations
